Can one fan cover a long patio?

Actual runtime depends on charge level, sunlight during the day, fan speed, light usage, weather, and solar panel placement.

Can a Ventallion solar ceiling fan run on cloudy days?

Yes, but performance depends on available sunlight and stored battery power.

The LiFePO4 battery backup helps make the fan more useful during cloudy days or lower-sunlight conditions, but good solar panel placement is still important for charging performance.

How long does the battery last after a full charge?

Runtime depends on how the fan is used. Under listed product conditions, runtime can range up to 10–60 hours after a full charge.

Using lower fan speeds and less lighting helps extend runtime. Using the fan and light together at higher settings will use more battery power.

Does using the light reduce fan runtime?

Yes. Running the fan and LED light at the same time uses more battery power than running the fan alone.

To extend battery life, use a lower fan speed and turn the light off when it is not needed.

Does the solar panel have to be installed directly above the fan?

No. The solar panel does not have to be installed directly above the fan.

Ventallion includes an extended cable so the solar panel can be placed where sunlight is stronger, such as a roof edge, pergola beam, fence, or another sunny nearby location.

Where should I place the solar panel?

Place the solar panel where it can receive the most stable direct sunlight during the day.

Avoid locations that are frequently shaded by roof overhangs, trees, pergola beams, nearby walls, or seasonal sun-angle changes.

Does battery backup mean solar panel placement no longer matters?

No. Battery backup helps extend use after sunset or during lower-sunlight conditions, but solar panel placement still matters.

A better solar panel location helps the battery charge more effectively and improves everyday performance.

Does a Ventallion solar ceiling fan need household wiring?

No. Ventallion solar ceiling fans are designed to work without standard household wiring.

They use solar power, battery backup, and optional Type-C or adapter charging, making them useful for outdoor spaces where wiring is difficult, expensive, or not already planned.

Is installation similar to a regular ceiling fan?

Yes. Installation is similar in concept to a standard ceiling fan setup, but you also need to position the solar panel for good sunlight.

Always follow the included installation instructions and make sure the mounting structure is suitable for a ceiling fan.

Does Ventallion offer a warranty?

Yes. Ventallion provides a two-year limited warranty for eligible products purchased from ventallion.com.

The warranty covers eligible defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use.

What does the warranty cover?

The limited warranty may cover manufacturing defects, defects in materials, defects in workmanship, or functional failure under normal intended use that is not caused by improper handling, improper installation, or external damage.

If a valid claim is approved, Ventallion may provide replacement parts, troubleshooting support, a replacement product, or a partial or full refund where repair or replacement is not reasonably available.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic aging, discoloration, surface deterioration, improper installation, misuse, unauthorized modification, accidents, severe weather, power surges, flooding, corrosion, pests, or products purchased from unauthorized sellers.

Proper installation and intended use are important for warranty coverage.
